Well hello again one and all. How's everyone keeping? We're not too bad thanks. New album's out actually, so that's been keeping us busy and travelling about. And you know what that means - more new and interesting musical morcels to keep our souls warm as the winter nights draw in around us. This month sees some particularly wonderful brand new items for you: Gruff Rhys, Jim Noir, The Liminanas, Clinic and The Budos Band all have smashing new records on release. Big new discoveries for me personally include Papercuts (from America), the incredible Tiny Sparrow sung by the sadly recently departed Mary Travers (brought to my attention by the ever-resourceful Grace Maxwell), Don McLean (how did I miss him?) and Sorrow by The Merseybeats which I only heard for the first time recently. Classics every one. We also lost the legendary Cool Ruler, Gregory Isaacs this month. He will be missed for sure. Kick back, relax, enjoy and celebrate!
