I wasn't born so much as I fell out

Playing tracks by

Titus Andronicus, Pavement, Oneida, Saul Williams, Orange Juice and more.

A deliberate bombastic mix of different genre's with some minor mixing and samples. It started out as a concept mix from life to death, with Neil Young's Blowin' in the Wind being a requiem of the soul and a riposte to the bleak but brilliant Holocaust by Big Star. But like the best concept albums I couldn't resist a few curveballs. The samples are taken from Blade Runner and Richard Dawkins reading his seminal work Unweaving the Rainbow. If the voice on All Seeing I sounds familiar it is Tony Christie with lyrics written by Jarvis Cocker. The voice sample at the start of Holocaust was an accident after I took Pulled Apart from Horses from the setlist but I kept in as it breaks the mood nicely.
