Melodica 14 November 2011

Playing tracks by

Wet Illustrated, Daphni aka Caribou, Christophe & Lukas, Turntable Orchestra, Double Hill & Jerome C and more.

Chris Coco's weekly radio broadcast. An eclectic selection of brilliant new music starting with house and moving on to electronica, downtempo, acoustic and all sorts of other styles loosely connected to dance and electronic music. Let tastemaker Chris Coco guide you through his selection of the week's best new music.
This episode is all about Autumnal atmospherics, music that sounds good in the dark, music that makes you feel a little sad in a happy way, music that keeps away the cold. There's new Nicolas Jaar, King Krule and Double Hill plus one for the house dads. Melodica - unmissable.

Good mix, but not the best you can do Chris! The music featured here is not as fresh and original as usual.

Jaar reminds me older F Communications releases... great... night flight... ''Close'' is dreamy... Double Hill: amazing... Gonna Miss Me, it is love, but Sir Coco:man i had enough of the re:edits... u r going 2 dig nu music online and teh half of the release are re:edits... sepa-alright... like... on caribu track teh carpet sound like a flute is very familiar 2 me... like a melody who played a little ''crazy'' man in town as he walked in the streets of my small city... really strange...
