Anthony Kendrick and Nick Davie are joined by Shane Lees for a special episode of The 72 Show. In this episode we debate the role of the media in the Football League.
The BBC used to invest in The Football League, with highlights coverage and live games. This is no longer the case. We discuss whether they should be more involved, and whether they need to be with Sky and Channel 5 currently having the rights.
The debate then looks at whether live games affect the attendances at grounds. Massimo Cellino caused a stir at Leeds last season by initially not allowing the Sky cameras into the stadium, but does he have a point? Should the Football League be on TV?
