a few tracks with different russian folk projects. first - Mikkai Kumo is Lidya Igolnikova from Samara, she's playing hang (hang drum, hand pan, Pan art etc.), it might be called 21-st century worldwide folk music. second - maata is a Moscow-based ethnoband, formely of 8 or much more members. they are playing some folk-fusion with indian roots and composition, but not only, we might call this stuff "traditional worldwide folk music". and the last - Bio Trio is the trio of musicians (surprised?) Taisiya Krasnopevtceva - tradittional russian vocals, Serghei Klevenskiy - flutes, clarinet, Serghei Filatov - piano, keys. this three people is playing traditional russian folk with jazzy moods. give a listen to this meditative set of tracks.
