Atonement—How God Deals with Our Sins

Atonement—How God Deals with Our Sins

God wants you to know about the items on this platform including where they came from and their meaning. You can trace them to the Sinai Desert around 1400 BC, then to Shiloh for 369 years, and then to Temple Mount and the flat stone where I believe the Ark of the Covenant once stood.
Even more important than their history is that God wanted them all made in a precise way because they were to be earthly replicas of what is in heaven. There is nothing else on earth about which that can be said other than possibly human beings themselves. The menorah and the Table of Showbread I had copied from the Arch of Titus in Rome, just down the ancient road from the Coliseum. Each detail can be studied because each one tells us something about God.
Today as we consider the Day of Atonement, one of the biblical days God set aside in the Old Testament, I hope we can learn what God requires of us with regard to our own sins.

Here are the summary comments about the Day of Atonement: (Leviticus 16:2
