"Be quiet, Inanna, the ways of the underworld are perfect. They may not be questioned."
In the light of the current collective crisis, Faranak Mirjalili and myself decided to share a few of our dance pilgrimages that we created for Dancing in Her Flames (inspired by the book of 'Dancing in The Flames' by Marion Woodman) - which was a blend of Jungian dreamwork, storytelling and dance.
"In the myth of Inanna, the goddess descends into the Underworld to visit her sister Ereshkigal, queen of the dead. Inanna, as the Queen of Heaven and Earth has to learn that life is not complete without loss and death. That it is the fertile ground for new life and that her participation in the death cycle actually impregnates new life. It is only in the dance between life and death, that culture is born and renewed." (Faranak Mirjalili) > link: www.faranakmirjalili.net/articles/2020/1/28/made-of-dirt-a-journey-with-inanna
