Listening to the Forest is a series of botanical transmissions weaving together a soundscape of field recordings, music, thoughts and conversations. Commissioned by Central Saint Martins, it forms part of the Forest School programme coordinated by Andreas Lang and Catalina Mejía Moreno from the Spatial Practices Department.

The first chapter is called Learning from the Forest, focusing on Culture and Community in the forest. It features contributions from Chef Fadi Kattan from Palestine, Nathalia Favaro, an architect, ceramicist and film-maker from Brazil, as well as Rahul Srivastava, anthropologist and urbanologist from India.

Listening to the Forest is produced by Cameron Bray. He works on projects engaging with people, nature, stories and places across roles at JA Projects, R-Urban Poplar and Central Saint Martins. He hosts a monthly radio show on Radio Alhara.
