Playing tracks by
Doris Pfeff, Reinhold Krämer, Cäcilia & Michael Brückner.
Sunday, October the 6th, I had the great joy to meet and improvise for the first time with the great cello player Doris Pfeff (who not only plays cello, but also guitar, saxophone, flute, monochord - and sings!). We actually plan to start a project together, so stay tuned for more to come! :-)
We also were joined on one track by my old B4 SUNRISE bandmate Reinhold Krämer on Q-Chord (which is a rather exotic electronic instrument, a mix of a portable synthesizer with an accordeon, or something like that) and by my dear wife Cäcilia who lent her beautiful voice to Doris' monochord playing.
PLEASE NOTE: all these tracks were completely improvised, and what You hear are excerpts from the raw, unedited recordings (actually, we encountered some sound difficulties, like hiss, and microphone feedback etc. and we had no reverb for the cello and the vocals, and the mix, since it is a simple stereo recording, not a multitrack one, has some imbalances here and there which couldn't be fixed.)
