Recycled Funk Episode 32 (Tribute to Patrick Adams)

Recycled Funk Episode 32 (Tribute to Patrick Adams)

Chart positions

This show was 1st in the global disco edits chart, 2nd in the global boogie chart, 3rd in the global disco chart and 6th in the global soul chart.

"Recycled Funk is back in action. This episode is dear to me for a couple of good reasons. The music world recently lost one of its icons. His name is Patrick Adams. Not really known to the mainstream masses but do yourself a favor and look him up if you're not familiar with him. His heyday spans from the mid 70's thru the 80's, but his overall body of work runs much farther than that. A native NY'ker from Harlem, his imprint on NY's classic Dance music era is undeniable. I'm very fortunate to have professional connection to Mr. Adams..."

Szuuuuper ♥️

I'm glad you dig it!

Great mix! A fitting tribute, what a selection of tunes! 👊🏻

Thank you for listening and for the feedback!

Can you make a 90's & 00's hip hop., pop, R&B, clean mix(es) for teachers returning back? As you see with the nationwide teacher shortage, morale is at an all time low going into the new school year. We can use the motivation. Something that could be played in the classroom or on the way to teach the kids in the car. Thank you in advance if you can make this happen!

As a fellow teacher I can overstand the sentiment. I'll see what I can cook up but no guarantees.
