Well, we are back again. What a story Abraham and Isaac turned out to be. This next week here at Bridges, we will be continuing our look at redemption examples. As we near “resurrection Sunday” I am excited to introduce our upcoming topic that comes from the book of Exodus, which means like it sounds, the exit.
God has heard the cries of His people and sent a deliverer in Moses. God uses Moses to direct a series of plagues which eventually became the catalyst that caused Pharaoh to release the Israelites from Egypt’s bondage. The last and most potent plague of all was the death of the first born for every household. But God had a plan for those who would choose Him. If a household placed a lamb’s blood over their doorway God would “pass over” those houses and spare them from judgment. The Jewish homes chose to follow God’s plan for protection. God proclaimed this Passover event as a religious holiday for the nation of Israel so they would not forget God’s redemptive nature. This eve
