The Captain Maniac Show

Music from my childhood! Yes I was born in the 50s.

Brian Currin

So was I! But right at the end... 4 days after the Day The Music Died (according to Don McLean).
I discovered Old-Time Rock & Roll mainly due to the 1973 films "American Graffiti" and "Let The Good Times Roll".

The Captain Maniac Show

Yeah, I was born in 1950, so I distinctly remember the rock n roll music from 1956 and beyond...!

Brian Currin

Wonderful! I grew up listening to showtunes and church hymns... my parents loved musicals and my father was a Methodist church organist. And I started listening to pop radio in the mid-60's. And then in 1973 I heard Deep Purple's Made In Japan version of Smoke On The Water... and my rock fate was sealed!

Brian Currin

And I think I first heard Molly B Good on one of your shows!

Magdolna Tatay

I love it, thank you.

Brian Currin

Cool, thank you!
