Generoso and Lily's Bovine Ska and Rocksteady: Rupie Edwards Success Label 11-3-15

Welcome Bovine Ska and Rocksteady Listeners,

We really appreciate the kind words and response to our Jamaican Halloween show last week. This week, we started off with 2 sets of ska, beginning with a rare Kentone cut from The Sharks from 1965 and ending the second of ska with Higgs and Wilson performing, "What Are You Selling" in 1965. After a mento set and a long rocksteady set, we launched into our spotlight on Rupie Edwards' Success label, so if you like the early reggae sound from 1968 to 1973 and the voice of Gregory Isaacs, Dobby Dobson, and Ken Parker, this is the spotlight for you. Please share the show if you enjoyed it, and do join our group on Facebook. XO Generoso and Lily!
