Generoso and Lily's Bovine Ska and Rocksteady: Lord Tanamo Memorial And The Sugar Label 4-26-16

Hello Bovine Ska and Rocksteady Listeners,

We have sad news to share as legendary vocalist, Lord Tanamo, passed away on April 19th at the age of 82. Generoso first met Tanamo back in 1998, when The Allstonians graciously brought him down to WMBR where I got a chance to interview him about his musical career. We began our show with a set of our favorite Tanamo tracks. A great singer and performer. He will be very missed.

Our spotlight this week on is the short lived English reggae label, SUGAR, which featured many Charlie Ross produced gems from Joe White, Claude Sang, and MORE!
