On February 9, 2017 the 84th U.S. Attorney General, Jeff Sessions was sworn in as the Top Law Enforcement official in America. Yet, this AG has a history and has made public statements of denying, obstructing, and supporting legislation that suppresses the votes of African Americans and Latinos; seeks to overturn Roe v. Wade and a woman's constitutional right to chose; along with legislation to set back legal rights of members of the LGBT community. All of this during the celebration of Black History Month that supports the diversity of our nation. Unfortunately, this Attorney General has sought to obstruct the Civil Rights of our citizens and like his president, can only see contributions from deceased Fredrick Douglas who died more than 100 years ago in 1895, rather than speaking to the current state of our nations civil rights. My guest tonight is Dr. Wilmer Leon, host of "Inside the Issues w/Wilmer Leon" and Award Filmmaker and Producer, Keith Beauchamp.
