Innovative band from the Berlin avant-garde featuring members of, among others, Hyperactive Kid and Der Rote Bereich, performing compositions from the album Sun Ship.

Philm is founded by tenor saxophonist/composer Philipp Gropper from Berlin, who has previously performed at the Bimhuis with acclaimed trio Hyperactive Kid. His compositions transcend existing styles and genres and simultaneously carry forth the energy of past improvised music.
