It's episode number 6! Today I talked to Brett Seychell, the founder of a charity called The Kindness of Strangers and a social enterprise called Social Cycles.
The Kindness of Strangers is a charity Brett started when him and a friend decided to cycle all the way from London back to Melbourne Australia. That’s 25,000 kilometers! What a crazy journey. Along the way they raised money and 100% of the proceeds went directly to people in need.
Social cycles was founded based on Brett’s experience with The Kindness of Strangers. It is a startup social enterprise that is designed for people who want to travel with purpose. They take groups of cyclists through Cambodia and visit local NGOs along the way. Through this people get to experience the country and culture first hand while also learning about what really happens in these villages and how they can help.
