On 27th July the games of the 30th Olympiad will begin in London with a huge Opening Ceremony directed by Danny Boyle. In the months leading up to the start of the games, the Olympic torch has made it's way right around Great Britain traveling within ten miles of every town, village and city in the country. The flame has been on a zipwire, trains, boats and on it's way down to London passed through the East Midlands where author and broadcaster Ben Atkinson was waiting to follow its progress. Featuring contributions from torch bearers, organisers and other local broadcasters, join Ben as he sets out to discover just why the Olympic Torch relay means so much to so many people, as this once in a lifetime journey makes its way through the very heart of England.
