You couldn’t make this stuff up, you really couldn’t...
Terje Dybdah (aka DJ Deepdale) grew up on a farm in Norway. On the family farm, Deepdale’s father built a stage and hosted parties – ranging from swing to all-out techno festivals. Most kids pick up a few tapes and sneak into pubs when they’re younger...
Present day and Deepdale is DJing and promoting his own parties in Norway, and doing very well for himself indeed. As a DJ his style is varied – taking influence from Deep House, Disco, Funk and Jazz – so creating a mix from Markus Mehta’s tracklist is a little out of his comfort zone. Terje has thived on the challenge however, putting his own unique angle on the set.
In his own words (or whoever penned his biog):
“His mixing style is about putting together tunes harmonically, trying to create an energetic and organic atmosphere on the dance floor. His choice of music can vary a lot. A mix of house, deep house, nu-disco, and techno with a groovy or melodic twist to it.”
