Sri Sathya Sai - The God of small things

Sri Sathya Sai - The God of small things

"How did you become a devotee of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba?"
This is a question that often leads to fascinating answers. Those answers reveal that devotees consider their 'Swami' as God, not only because of the 'big' and 'fantastic; miracles that He does but also because of those little things that mean nothing to the world but mean a world to the person concerned!

Here are some bitter-sweet and sweet-sweet experiences where Swami definitely became the God of small things for me, and thus became the God of all things as well! Among the several incidents is also the defining moment of my life - when I literally got 'chained' to Him.

Shiva Rama Raju

Sai ram barru, really enjoyed the talk and also was able to recollect ur speech on that day especially that starting part " primary school tiny tots" and that " what might be going in the mind of last girl on the floor for the ramp jump" etc.. and finally swami patting on ur cheek and blessing u with the chain" really beautiful.. Thanks for making me recollec/relive those moments.. Jai jai sai ram. Keep up the good work..

Beautiful Arvind. Totally agree we don't have to experience any great miracles to accept Swami as God . It's the little things in our daily life . I still remember my first visit to brindavan in 1979. When I first saw Him I I just cried uncontrollably. The next day, during darshan Swami was at ladies side . I was sitting about 6 or 7 rows away . My son was on my lap . Swami shot a look at us and from where He was standing He threw a biscuit filled chocolate at my son . It fell directly on my lap . I was thrilled. Swami has always been there . . The problem might appear small but when u call out to Him He is there for u . And He gives u what u need n best for u . Thank u for the beautiful, stories. And yes , implicit faith and belief .He is there always , in the temple of our hearts .
