Hanna Massad | Ministry in Amman, Jordan

Hanna Massad was born and grew up in Gaza. He graduated from Bethlehem Bible College in 1991. Following that, he studied in the USA at Fuller Theological Seminary in California, where he was awarded his Master of Divinity degree in 1994 and a PhD in Theology in 2000. He was the first local pastor at Gaza Baptist Church, where he pastored the church for twelve years. Pastor Hanna has been involved in a collaborative Christian television project, writing study guides on the Gospels of Matthew, John, and the book of Acts, which were designed for use on the internet. In 2007, after the tragic murder of his friend and fellow church member, Rami Ayyad, Pastor Hanna and his family, along with 8 other families, evacuated from Gaza. Pastor Hanna and his family now live in Amman, Jordan, where he pastors a church of 200 Iraqi refugees. From there he visits Gaza 3 or 4 times a year in order to continue to support the church there.
