Mitcham author and artist Hamja Ahsan joins Colin and Andy's monthly somewhat free-form speakeasy to discuss his cultural highlights of the year ranging across anti-islamaphobia, football and its sense of community, the power of fanzines, Soul Of A Nation at Tate Modern , Bosnian echoes, and musically, the Jesus and Mary Chain. They are among the vivid soundtrack interweaving the genesis and journey in his new book Shy Radicals- a kind of informed manifesto for a more introvert society laced which takes a few sardonic pops at modern British life. Colin adds some sage commentary and a bit of a round up of local and wider campaigning updates. (nb: Andy reads from the book in Hour 3 of Sundays' edition)
