Don't Sugar Coat It - Staying Hydrated During Exercise Requires a Healthy Balance of Electrolytes

In this podcast, Jeff and Val talk about staying hydrated while exercising, and how sports drinks are marketed by junk-food companies.  Typical sports drinks contain two cups of sugar per gallon.  In a heat-stress environment, drinking sports drinks will make you sick from the sugar before your hydration needs are met.  Proper hydration requires a balance of electrolytes that includes magnesium and potassium, not just sugar and salt.
