Frontiers Lecture: Neil deGrasse Tyson and Astronaut Scott Kelly on Life in Space

Scott Kelly is a former Navy fighter pilot and test pilot, an engineer, and a retired NASA astronaut who over four space flights accumulated 520 days living in space, a record at the time in 2015. Talking with Hayden Planetarium Director Neil deGrasse Tyson, Captain Kelly shares a glimpse of life in the uniquely unwelcoming environment of space—and the extreme challenges of long-term spaceflight.

Part of the monthly Frontiers Lecture series, this conversation took place at the Hayden Planetarium on October 16, 2017.
