No jumping cats or cheap jolts here - just rich, melodic, atmospheric and eclectic music from films both real and imagined.
This mix of dark melodies and retro soundtracks was inspired by the Woob album Adaption (2015), an electronica soundtrack to an imaginary 80's movie about an abandoned games arcade in a small coastal town which comes to life after midnight and turns the inhabitants into the undead.
Mixed in with the Woob tracks are film scores from American film director/composer John Carpenter (Halloween, The Fog, The Thing, Prince Of Darkness), neoclassical minimalism from Ennio Morricone, and music from the films of classic Euro-horror directors Dario Argento and Lucio Fulci.
There's also a brilliant track inspired by Edgar Alan Poe by Australian composer Peter Miller.
