Episode 9 – Christine Sneed, Plus Our Writing Resolutions

Our guest today is the very prolific Christine Sneed. Christine's first book, Portraits of a Few of the People I've Made Cry, won AWP's 2009 Grace Paley Prize, was nominated for a Los Angeles Times Book Prize in first fiction. Portraits also won Ploughshares' Zacharis Award for a first book and was named one of the seven best books of the year by Time Out Chicago. Her second book, the novel Little Known Facts, will be published in February by Bloomsbury. Her short stories have appeared in Best American Short Stories, PEN/O. Henry Prize Stories, New Stories from the Midwest, Ploughshares, New England Review, Southern Review and a number of other journals. She lives in Evanston, IL.
