The music of the 1990s is as diverse as any decade. It followed an evolution that took us from the final years of bad 80s overproduced crap and the death spiral of hair metal all the way to nu metal and the glittering pop stars that inhabited the next decade. What happened in between was pretty great - the heyday of hip hop, the Seattle sound, Brit pop, the early years of EDM, and rock n roll's last vital years. Special guest singer/songwriter extraordinaire Shannon Hurley joins the podcast for a healthy debate as we pose the question: What was better, the music of 1990-1994 or the music of 1995-1999? Opinions are shared, tempers flare, feelings are hurt, great music is heard throughout.
