"World in Action" was a UK commercial TV current affairs programme made by Granada Television from 1963-1998. In this programme "World in Action" investigates "Radio Free Europe", a US government-funded broadcaster, which, during the Cold War (1949-1989), broadcast to Soviet satellite countries like Poland, Hungary, Czechoslovakia, Rumania, East Germany, etc..
This programme was broadcast on Monday evening, 13th March 1972, 20.00-20.30 hours.
