Working as a veteran Radio Director and Club DJ for over 30 years, Akira Ishii has become one of the most important and open mind radio director in Japanese radio industry. He has opened wide doors to many club DJs from early radio days and brought dance music in radio comfortably.
Currently directing key Music programs on J-WAVE (81.3 FM) including Gilles Peterson's "WORLDWIDE15" and " 360° "
Starting as a House DJ in 1987, he has played at many legendary Night Clubs in Tokyo as well as Cafe, Bars, and Lounge where music creates important atmosphere of the place.
