Acoustic Mirror is a streaming concert and experimental broadcast series paring one musician with one sound artist creating a dialog between the artists' distinct practices that blur the line between music and sound. This episode features the queer sound/performance artist Gambletron, based out of Montreal, Canada currently displaced in Los Angeles. Through the years they’ve been known for their noise synth performances in clubs and galleries performing sets through large piles of radios, or noise performances in unique spaces using roving transmission. In addition they are joined by Patrick Breiner as Vartan Mamigonian a saxophonist, clarinetist, composer, and educator. He is widely sought after as a unique and energetic instrumentalist and improviser. Patrick operates Sulde Records and leads several projects including Vartan Mamigonian (solo saxophone) and Double Double (free jazz quartet featuring 2 bassists).
