Take a trip to The Twilight Zone !
Just got back to listening to the rest of the mix - very well put together and the slow bmp gave this something different that made it really interesting - parts of it harked back to the Belgium newbeat music from the late 80's. Pleasure Moon was my standout track but loved a lot of the stuff on here which all worked together. Great stuff :)
John, Thank You.! You are absolutely spot on about the slow BPM & the newbeat music. I was listening to a few tunes & thought about putting the mix together. Thank you for the kind words !Going to check out your mixes over the weekend, saw some serious tune selection in there! So many of my favourites, really looking forward to it!
soft & smooth selection, like the warmth touch in yr work !!! keep going
Thank You Velvet for the support!
Just 20 mins in and I have to head out - damn it! Loving this set already - Pleasure Moon - what a track - will be back again tomorrow for the rest :)
This was a really cool mix, Sunil. I liked the Indie/Nu-Disco sound. Slower bpm, but far from boring. The music was wonderfully electric with funky rhythms. Your track programming and mixing were really great which added to the enjoyment of this set. It's always a pleasure listening to a cohesive set. I was immediately hooked by the very smooth and trippy track "Planet Caravan." That was a great rework and I was pleasantly surprised by it. The transition into "Dare" was perfect and nice way to kick the mood up a notch. That is a cool tune that had a dreamy element with a cool infusion of funk. "Pleasure Moon" had a killer bass line, pretty infectious tune. The percussive and synth laced "Ginnungagap" was a very good track. This was sort of a genre bending track with the tribal element. "Trance in Mexico" was another indie gem with a very cool sound. This was a great way to start off my morning. It definitely put me in a good zone. Nice work!!
Thank You so much!! I was experimenting with slower BPMs, discovering new sounds & thus goes the story! ;)Thank You again for your amazing feedback!! CheersBTW the Nobody mix is infectious - ace track programming!!
So nice to have stumbled across your mix, the first 3 tracks really caught my attention and imagination, then to be taken for an uplifting ride for the remaining. Real cool mix Mate ;)
