Dr. Christopher Fairgrieve is a member of British Columbia's Centre for Excellence in HIV/AIDS. He is also a doctor at St. Paul's Hospital in Vancouver, British Columbia-a hospital that has been on the front lines combating British Columbia's apparent Fentanyl crisis.
Together, we explore what Fentanyl is, how it made its way into the illicit drug market, and the instrumental role that St. Paul's hospital plays in providing harm reduction strategies. We also explore his stance on legal supervised drug injection sites, what Ontario can learn from British Columbia with regards to the Fentanyl crisis and much more. This is part two of our conversation.
