Susanna Schoenberg has produced in recent years various projects which investigate the phenomenology of boundaries and apparatus-based observations, especially the monitoring of sea borders in the Mediterranean Sea. Her work "deep interview (on monitoring)" is a double monologue of questions that relates to border surveillance, monitoring practices and asylum policies.

Ilaria Gadenz from Radio Papesse will speak about Süden Radio, an ongoing project that in the face of the shifting and drifting reconfiguration of the many Souths, adopts sound as a critical tool of knowledge. From Süden Radio's archive, we will listen to Panphonia - by Pietro Bonanno and Fabio Lattuca, aka VacuaMœnia - a soundwork that vessels the listeners to the other side of migration and displacement; a sound investigation of the Sicilian rural villages built during the fascist regime and now almost completely abandoned.
