Marijn is joined by author Bill McGuire to talk about his latest book, Sky Seed. Bill is a volcanologist by trade, and is is currently Professor Emeritus of Geophysical and Climate Hazards at UCL. He tells us about his discoveries of the impact of climate change on volcanoes and how this led him to become a contributing author of the 2012 IPCC report on climate change and extreme events. He speaks frankly about the need for scientists to tell the truth and takes us through his journey from a scientific, academic writer to a speculative fiction author.
