Hi GED & JIM - Nice one fellas! Cracking selection as always of diverse tunage of the finest order. I knew you would get some Texas Soul in there! Gone off Mayor Hawthone. Disrespectful but showing signs of arrogance and delusion too. Stand out tunes for me were WALES WALLACE, BARBARA MASON, RUBY & THE ROMANTICS, JOANIE SOMMERS, THE LEGENDS, CYNTHIA & THE IMAGINATIONS, KATIE LOVE, GAYLETS, ARTISTICS, ANGEL RISOFF, FESTIVALS, CHARLES BRIMMER, BOBBY DUKES, CONTINENTAL SHOWSTOPPERS, ALICE CLARK & THE DELLS (Blimey I could have listed all 20 tracks here!!)
By Wales Wallace - Wales like Barbara has that something in his voice, a richness and this record is a great example. 'Whatever you want' is a brilliant spin and also a fave of mine by him.
- By Barbara Mason - FABULOUS. Love her voice and delivery. Barbara always captures a magical feel to her songs.
- By Ruby & the Romantics - Big Tune. Not surprised ou played it 19 times. I would have played it 50 times and then used up my data allowance for a week! Cracker!
- By Joanie Sommers - Feelgood x/over at its best. Lovely tune:)
- By Ledgends - Love the version by the Lovelites too. Wonder which is the orginal version. Both great cuts.
- By Royalettes - Classy tune and harmonies.
- By Dream Team- Deep Mid tempo soul from the ladies. GREAT SOUND!
- By Cynthia & The Imaginations - EPIC track. Super vocals, harmonies & strings too.
- By Katie Love & The Four Shades Of Black - FANTASTIC. Didn't know this was the original. Thought Milie Jackson's was. It just goes to show that the originals are rarely beaten!
By Gaylets - LOVELY tune. I think one of you gents played this out recently? If not I'm requesting it - A GEM!
- By Artistics - TOP GROUP and TOP DRAWER tune.
- By Angel Rissoff - Really dig this. Jazzy Northern little dancer!
- By Mark Putney - Cool track and really like the funky vibe running through it.
- By Festivals - SUPERB group, track and harmonies.
- By Charles Brimmer - Deep 'laid back' soul GEM. New to me this one.
- By Bobby Dukes - Quality modern souler from Bobby. Dripping with soul elegance and a real depth to this track. Always makes me smile.
- By Continental Showstoppers -TOP SPIN - Mid-tempo crossover magic. Feelgood all the way.
- By Ray Frazier & The Shades Of Madness - Super mellow jam. PURE CLASS!
- By Alice Clark - Another great vocal and track from Alice. QUALITY!
- By Dells - What a finisher by the MIGHTY Dells.
Just to wish you both and our families a wonderful Christmas and a blessed 2016. See you out and about very soon - Take care Jas :)
