Disability Rights Movement was an out cry by a group of Americans who just wanted to be treated the same as everyone else. It yielded real attention from the government to assist with the needs of Americans with disabilities which led to the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990. The movement impact was nationwide, yet rarely discussed in schools. RadioActive will be discussing the Disability Rights Movement with Dr. Ora Prilelltensky, Rochelle Baer, and Sylvia Goncz.
