Muhammad Yunus is an economist from Bangladesh and founded the Grameen Bank, a microfinance institution. He was granted the Nobel Peace Prize in 2006 for his tremendous work. Today, many institutes are adopting his model and efforts across the globe are being made to stimulate the economies of impoverished nations.
