Stop Cop City - The Peoples Stop Work Order - Interview w/ Rev Jonathan - 08 September 2023

Reverend Jonathan Rogers joins Christopher Hollis in the studio to discuss the September 7th "Peoples Stop Work Order" where 5 individuals, who were made of up of community members and faith leaders, chained themselves to the construction equipment at the site of the proposed militarized police training facility known in the movement as Cop City. Despite an over 100K signature petition to place the decision on the ballot for Atlanta voters, construction continues.

The five individuals were arrested and taken to the Dekalb County Jail where they are not expected to have a bond hearing until Monday, September 11. As of this post, two have been charged with felonies.
