On this show we'll be focusing on the boats that keep trying to break the Illegal Israeli blockade imposed on Gaza. In October, the latest boat attempting to break this illegal siege was a Swedish boat, Estelle.
To highlight more this movement, we interviewed Stephan Corriveau, a Canadian activist and a founding member of Alternatives (alternatives.ca). Stephan will tell us how the Freedom Flotilla movement started and when/why Canadians decided to join this international movement with their own boat in 2011. He will also let us know what happened to the Canadian boat when it was boarded by the Greek Special Forces and what happened when he himself was arrested by the Israeli army after being on the French boat.
We'll also talk about the Gaza Ark (gazaark.org). The Gaza Ark is a boat that is trying to break the blockade from inside out. It is being built in Gaza and, when finished, it will attempt to carry Palestinian goods from Gaza to the international market.
