Ubuntu Soundz Music Rooms Vol. 15: Between The Railroad Lines by Thulani Shuku

Ubuntu Soundz Music Rooms Vol. 15: Between The Railroad Lines by Thulani Shuku

Playing tracks by

Miles Davis, Don Cherry and Latif Khan, Philip Tabane and His Malombo Jazzmen, The Heshoo Beshoo Group, Cannonball Adderley and more.

'Between the Railroad Lines' is a series of photographs by a good friend, the South African photographer, Ignatius Mokone. The photographs are taken from the rail line that cuts through the Cape Flats in Cape Town. The photographs are a snapshot of the communities that live along the railroad lines. The selection on this mix takes inspiration from my time traveling these very rail lines. Thulani Shuku.
