TRIASSIC TUSK MYSTERY MIX

TRIASSIC TUSK MYSTERY MIX

Chart positions

This show was 25th in the global rock chart, 33rd in the global beats chart and 77th in the global soul chart.

Competition time. It's a mystery mix so we haven't put a track list up, that's up to you if you fancy it. The first person to get the full track list right in the comments below the mix wins prizes... The last remaining sealed original copy of our compilation, Screamers, Bangers & Cosmic Synths, our first album, Lomond Campbell - Black River Promise and our first single, Withered Hand - Stay Golden. It's quite easy really, feel free to challenge any record lovers... All recorded live from original vinyl so expect the usual dodgy mixing
We've got a mailing list and shop and stuff here by the way... http://triassictusk.com/

Ok, let's end the pain. The one after Shirley Finney is a Nigerian Army Garrison one called Easy Soul Special. I've had it for ages but only ever listened to the other side, which is pretty scratched, but it turns out that this side is amazing. Then it's Jalil Bennis - Mirza, Lee Moses - Bad Girl, then more Janet Beat x thanks x

Is this still going on? It's not really is it, here are some more songs - Nira Congo is the one with lots of Brazilian shouting, then it's a Braun advert that sounds a bit like a Steve Winwood jazzy vocal thing, then Shirley Finney - Everyday People, loud pressing that.

Too difficult unfortunately :(

Even i'm bored of this now. The 12th song is Howard After 6, some US post punk stuff, then it's a Japanese early electronic record called DE-108, then Bettye Swan - When the game is played on you, then it's a jazz dance percussion thing that i can't remember the name of, then we've got a Tim Maia song from the Racional 45, it wasn't on an album, but it's pretty uplifting.

The 10th one is another gospel disco 45, from Philadephia this time. I can't remember the name of the group, but i doubt anyone cares. The song is called Clap Your Hands and i've already started to go off it, it does go on a bit. The 11th on is Rahni Harris - Inside of Me.

Ah, now song number nine isn't an easy one to find - Jeanette Brantley - I Found That Love. Swedish gospel disco.

Number 8 is the electro gospel 45 from Reggie Grantham and The New Generation - Come Together.

Next one, the seventh song is The Weeden Family Singers - In The Kingdom of the Lord. This sizzler only lasts two minutes then goes a bit fusion, but i've finally found a second copy, so that problem is solved.

6th one is Via Afrika - Hey Boy on 45. I'm enjoying this one almost as much as the westwood interview in the guardian yesterday.

I don't know if anyone's still trying, but the fifth song is Steve Monite - Things Fall Apart (Disco Jam), which a couple of folk guessed correctly. Also expecting this to get repressed from an mp3 sent over email to someone who doesn't even own the record quite soon.

Hiya, fourth song is by Tony Igiettemo and it's called Rock You Baby. It's a sizzler and i expect there'll be a dodgy repress of it soon enough, mastered from an MP3 no doubt.
