The Jazz Tempest 063

Chart positions

This show was 24th in the global jazz chart.

Hank Mobley starts the show off, followed by some B3 organ from the master. Brass big band featuring Art Farmer, Sonny Criss and Kenny Burrell round out the first half of the show. We move into newer material for the second half from the likes of vibraphonist Warren Wolf, Duane Eubanks and Matt Wilson as well as early 2000s material from Ron Carter and the title track from David Murray's 1981 release Home. Cheers!

Straight jammin

now THAT'S a playlist. Running full tilt as I complete 'network' paperwork for this Saturday's G&M! Cheers, DrJ

Cheers and thanks! Looking forward to a few of your shows. Im a couple weeks behind. Playlist seems to be growing out of control. Time to clear out some of the chaff :)

I know what you mean. I've got a queue of about 50 shows that I want to check out. So much music; so little time...........Cheers, DrJ
