Chart positions
This show was 12th in the global radioshow chart.
Every Sunday night, my local radio airs the excellent jazz show Stereotiep. The host, Kristof Lauwers, not only has an extensive collection of fine "mid-century music", he also masters the art of coming up with great themes for his shows. In reaction to Belgium's travel ban, he recently decided to only play songs with a destination in their title. And he challenged other music lovers to come up with an hour long travel as well. I picked up the gauntlet and came up with this mixture of classics, contemporary tunes and personal heroes. We go from Croatia to the rings of Neptune and along the way Sun Ra plays the blues. Enjoy!
O, and check my feed for the interview I did the week before . We chat about my work for Jazz & Mo', French grooves and Roy Eldridge and his love for mayonaise.
