Sweet P was part of the 90’s explosion of Manchester's club scene. She regularly DJed at Sankeys, Paradise, Hacienda, Home, Arch Bar & Jam St. Her style is a lively heavy mix of soulful jazzy beats, hiphop, funk, rare grooves, soulful house & broken beat.
A 2yr Saturday residency at the legendary Home nightclub (1993-5) featured guest slots from future stars such as Mr Scruff, Mark Rae, Andy Votel as well as veteran Manchester DJs & London luminaries such as Patrick Forge, Ross Allen, DJ Food. She hosted radio shows on pirate stations Frontline & Love Energy, and over the next decade continued to be an integral part of Manchester’s music scene playing at clubs, bars & parties across the city.
Older, wiser and inspired by joining the Eves’Drop Collective, Sweet P is back for more. Recently at We Out Here & Wilderness Festivals, Between The Bridges, Brixton Courtyard, NT's, BBE, 100 Shoreditch & a monthly radio show at The BoAt Pod, she is happily riding her renewed musical excursion.
