Stinkmix 12 - Late Night Snack

Stinkmix 12 - Late Night Snack

Playing tracks by

World Famous, Curd Durca, Oswald Cheesman, John Barry, Peter Thomas Sound Orchestra and more.

From 1999. There's a veritable novella written about the tracks and spoken word'n'fx nonsense at www.stinkyjim.com so please do check it - dl link there too for a limited time. This one is mainly intsru-mental and very heavy on the added dialogue and stuff - hope you enjoy it and if so, please do leave a comment or suchlike.

Nice one Jim, thanks for the info. I've been rinsing all the mixcloud posts pretty heavily. Used to listen to your show on bfm about a decade ago whilst living in NZ. Finally got re-connected here in Spain. Thanks man and keep scorching the radiowaves.

great mix Stinky Jim. Do you post more recent Stinky grooves shows online?

Stinky Jim

Hey Alex ..Thanks for your vibes. You can find actual Stinky Grooves shows online at http://www.95bfm.co.nz/default,18,bcasts.sm?cast=211132 They are up there pretty much every week. In all honesty I haven't made a prepared mix like this for a few years, the whole digital thing really changed the game there compared to when it was the only way to get some of that vinyl onto CD etc I am going to be binging some more of the Stinkmixes and Stinkbombs up soon though as there's still quite a few yet to grace Mixcloud. Cheers for the vibes.

HEY MAN!!!!finally i find this mix....few years ago i listen this late snack and it was one of the best mix what i hear...the mix like a radio storyline is great idea and perfect for chillin...thanx and do it more please!!!

Stinky Jim

Yikes this from a year ago, my apologies Miro. Thanks so much for your kind words, wish I had the time to do more but earning a crust gets in the way - this mix in particular took weeks of editing and de-scratching. but if there's ever an opportunity I'll be on it!

hey kr4ken
thanks for all your kind comments & patronage. Indeed bpm is rarely a factor in anything when it comes to stinking mixes and blends - guess that's just how the cookie crumbles. For some reason I don't often put tracks that I'm involved with musically or on Round Trip Mars - on my mixes, I guess it's a bit like choosing between your children or something. However - expect a new, completely RTM/U HiFi mix to pop up at some point when I get a moment (but don't hold your breath for that ...it may be a while)
New (old) mix up in the next few days
cheers
Jim
