"R I P. Jimmy Riley. Gone on to Zion. Jimmy past away this morning. He tried to hold on after been diagnosed with cancer last year but lost the fight this morning to that horrible thing call cancer. Love and Devotion. Everybody need Love. Ain't too proud to Beg. Just to name a few. I Did a combination with Him call steeling in the name of the Lord for Bunny Lee back in the 70s. FABULOUS tunes Mr T.Cool tribute to Jimmy Riley - really enjoyed the tunes by him, Phyllis Dillon, The Techniques, Ken Parker, John Holt, Sensations, Slim Smith and Dennis Alcapone. I could list the whole show!
Ken Parker was a cracker! Reminds me of Pat Kelly's'Talk About Love'.

BLESS UP - Cheers JAS :)

Spotlight on Treasure Isle after we bless the Reggae Hour with a well-chosen Bob Marley. Sadly we needed to mark the passing of the great Jimmy Riley with a celebration of his career for the last 25 minutes of the show. Thanks to Dennis Alcapone for letting us know of his passing. His tribute is reproduced above with respect.
Can you spot the big mistake on this part of the show? Didn't notice it during the show.
