Soul Cool Records/ Sotah - The Apple Tree of Love

Sotah is a DJ based in Göttingen, Germany. He is part of the Black Bear Basement, a band that combines the artform of beatmaking and Jazz.

"The Apple Tree of Love" is inspired by the song "Bill Brown And The Soul Injection - Love Under The Apple Tree" which is also the "title song" of the mix. It's a tribute to real love between two human beings that can only be described by feelings, not words. Sotah talks with music and so he decided to put a mix together that reflects his perception of wild and pure love, of friendship and good times. The musical journey starts with sweet Funk and Soul, it goes on with Latin and Afro-Cuban influences and ends with Afrobeat and Highlife.
