Playing tracks by
CHEMICAL BROTHERS (THE), Gino & Snake , Jimpster and The Littlemen.
Honest injun – I wasn’t in the greatest shape when this was recorded. For sure, one could say that I’m using temporary non-lucidness to provide a curtain of protection against some (let’s face it) fairly “liberal” mixing. Why, oh why, does track three appear where it does? Common sense dictates that it should be removed, but, I like the track, can’t imagine fitting it in elsewhere, and therefore feel as though after all this time that I’ve earned at least a slight reprieve from a 4/4 perfect mix (do I play fast and loose with the tempo? You’re god damn right I do.) Moving on, the mean age of the tracks on this mix are casually older than the average listener, provided (of course) someone is listening. I did, however, stumble upon a collection of house tracks I wanted to save until my kids could appreciate it and since I have no kids to speak of it’s only fair I distribute these tracks at will. I just wish I could have done something a little more artistic with them. Alas, this shall do.
