feat. ELECTRICIAN in session
The songwriting has often been compared to the lo-fi simplicity of works by Phil Elverum (The Microphones/Mount Eerie) and Bill Callahan (Smog). Electrician, an electro-folk project from Oakland California, creates shadowy songs about social war, relationships, and discontent. Neil Campau, formerly of the anarchist-folk duo World History and most well-known as the founder of DoDIY.org, started the project in mid-2012.
Joining me in the studio is "Mr Music" from The Arts Council, Chris Bye, and on a somewhat flying visit is Matthew Young from Song, By Road Records, a fine establishment that I've recommended on air more times than I care to remember.
