More often than not, you can judge a good movie by its score. Then of course there are bitter exceptions. Some of the greatest movies ever made have dull scores, if any at all. On the other hand, a great score can't save a bad film either. Still, I believe a movie score is every bit as important as the main components that make the movie, like the story, actors, actress, dialogues and so on.
I like any kind of soundtrack regardless of its genre as long as it keeps the story moving, captures the atmosphere and illustrates a character's inner world or motives. Most of the scores you'll hear on this podcast fall more on the conventional side. They represent some of my favourite movies and film composers. So sit back, and enjoy the journey they take you on.
